Stewardship is the practice of being grateful, responsible stewards of the gifts we receive from God. We do this through contributing financially to our church and the missions we support, offering our times and talents to the glory of God, and being responsible managers of the gifts we have been given.

Stewardship Drive, “Make it Simple”
Each year, our congregation makes an intentional request for financial support from those who  participate in our ministries. This year’s theme for the stewardship drive is “Make it Simple.” Please prayerfully reflect on what this church means to you and what we are doing  outside these walls to better our community at large. We need all of you to achieve these goals in the future.

General Offering
The general offering is an opportunity to physically give when you are at church. You can either place money or a check in the offering plate as it is passed through the congregation. For tax purposes, we highly recommend placing your offering in a church-provided envelope. This will allow the church to add your offering to your statement of giving. A print-out of your statement is sent to you on a quarterly basis.

Simply Giving
When you set up Simply Giving with the church office, your contributions can be deducted from your checking or savings account. There are a number of options available as to the frequency of the deductions — choose the method that best suits your lifestyle. The best aspect about this method is the fact that your offering goes to the church on a regular basis, even if you are not able to make it to church yourself that week. Your giving will be automatically recorded in your statement of giving that is sent to you on a quarterly basis.

People are at the heart of our ministry — and their contributions are crucial to funding our missions and doing the important work we are called to do. So we want to make it easy for you and your guests to give — wherever you are.

There are two ways to give online this year.

Give+Online is a Web-based tool that will allow you to manage your contributions from the comfort of your home or office. You can connect directly to our church’s site by following this link.

You must create an account and sign in. You can then set up which account you want funds to come from and how frequently they should occur. You can use a credit card, checking account or savings account to make a one-time or recurring gift.

Give+Mobile is a phone app which provides you access to the same online features as Give+Online, but via your mobile device. You have access to the mobile application via the App Store. Simply search for the app by typing in “Give+”. Like the web tool, you can choose what method of payment you prefer. You can:

  • Quickly and easily donate using your debit/credit card or checking/savings account.
  • Make one-time donations or set up recurring giving to multiple funds.
  • Choose to create an account or donate as a guest.
  • Securely and conveniently manage donations using Touch ID/Fingerprint, PIN or password.

Our Give+ Mobile app is included with ACH or debit/credit card processing, and there are no additional fees or software for church staff to learn or integrate. Even better, Give+ Mobile is FREE for members to download and use.

Both of these applications are provided by Vanco Online Giving, the same company that provides us with Simply Giving. It is a safe and easy way to give money to the church. If you use either of these methods, they will also be automatically added to your statement of giving and you will be provided with a quarterly statement for tax purposes.
